The Marion County Fair Board approved use of the fairgrounds with  the American Red Cross if needed after a disaster situation.

PKC National Coon Hunters will meet again on June 12-13-14,  2008

Southern Il. Antique Power Clubs "Antique Power Days" September 4-7, 2008

Southern Illinois Unit of WBCCI will be camping at the fairground on October 10-12,  2008 (American Airstream Region 5 Rally)

Raccoon Ramblers Camping Club will be having third campout at fairground October 17-19,  2008
