Kids
Day at the FAIR
Kids
age 5 years old and older are encouraged to take a stroll to the country
at the Marion County Fair. Come on down to the farm and shell your
own corn! You can dig your own potatoes, milk a cow or goat, learn
the craft of rope making, watch horseshoeing, and get lost in the straw
pile. Farm animals, (rabbits, goats, sheep, swine and beef) will
be available for you to pet. Merry-go-round rides will also be
available. These hands-on-activities will be available from 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m. with no admission fee. So, come on out and enjoy a day
at the Marion County Fair!
Location:
Marion County Fairgrounds, just off Rt. 37 South of Salem, IL.
**Register
for bicycle give-away. **Free hot dog lunch.

Day 2013 is sponsored by Marion County Fair Association, University of
Illinois Extension, Marion County Farm Bureau, Ag in the Classroom,
Southern Illinois Antique Power Club, USDA Farm Service Agency, Marion
County 4-H Federation, Salem Kiwanis Club and WJBD Radio. For more
